Ice Spices Up with Eventide

5/19/2010 - Green River Ordinance guitarist deploys PitchFactor and TimeFactor

Jamey Ice, founding member and guitarist for Green River Ordinance has adopted Eventide TimeFactor and PitchFactor as key components of his pedalboard. "The TimeFactor is the heart of my entire rig. I use delay for just about everything we do, and the TimeFactor has revolutionized my setup. It’s the best sounding delay on the market and its MIDI capabilities are phenomenal. Everything we do is to a click, so having a delay that I can dial in my presets via midi with one step has made everything so easy; transitions are faster, and the possibilities for what you can do in a very short amount of time are endless,” stated Ice. “Its delays are rich, lush, yet also transparent. I couldn't perform our show with out it!"

Green River Ordinance recently wrote and recorded ‘Rise Up’, a song for AT&T that was featured on the official soundtrack for Team USA for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Ice’s lead guitar on the track prominently featured the TimeFactor delay effects. The song was used on ‘The Today Show’ Olympic segment and was in the top 20 rock songs on iTunes for the past several weeks.

On the heels of Green River Ordinance’s Virgin Records debut album, ‘Out of My Hands,’ the second single, ‘On Your Own’ was released on April 12th. The song has been repeatedly used as the sign off song for ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’ and has been featured in ‘The Hills’ and ‘The Young and the Restless.’ Just completing their US spring tour, Green River Ordinance recently broke the Top 20 Hot Adult Rock chart. Billboard magazine heralds them as a band to watch in 2010.
